Fishing Trips to Ontario's Near North

The waters of the Near North travel region in Ontario have beckoned anglers from across Canada and the United States for decades. The star attraction in the region is massive Lake Nipissing with its abundant populations of walleye, bass, pike and muskie. Fishing on this lake is excellent both summer and winter so if it is ice fishing that you fancy, then the resorts and lodges in the Near North region can outfit you for a great  vacation - winter or summer. You don't have far to go to find great hunting in Ontario. The Near North Travel Region has plentiful big game like moose, bear and deer. Local hunting lodges and outfitters can provide you with a guided hunt or you can venture out in the woods on your own. Access excellent hunting land not far from Toronto and all of Southern Ontario for that matter. In addition to the larger animals you can also pursue quarry such as waterfowl, grouse and small game.
