Stretching from the Manitoba border and east across the north shore of Lake Superior all the way to Algonquin Park, Northern Ontario has six distinct travel regions. Each has something different to offer. Sunset Country is famous for its spectacular fishing lakes while North of Superior and Algoma Country have Lake Superior as their back yard. Ontario's Wilderness Region is exactly that and Rainbow Country and the Near North provide excellent vacation destinations close to the large urban centres in Southern Ontario.
